Timing Belt on 2.0 TDI\'s - Replacement Interval On a overhead cam engine I think it is the most efficient way to turn the cam. If you figure out the cost of an 100,000 mile timing belt it costs less than a 1/2 cent a mile installed. Even less than that considering you could get 200,000 miles on the car and just replace the belt once.

I have a 2009 2.2. TDCi Mondeo and had the timing belt replaced few months back.
