With all the changes Crytek made to the 64 bit version I figured it wouldn't be easier for any gamer. The 32-bit Far Cry is practically extinct nowadays, so most people don't know this. The only reason I was even able to play my physical copy of Far Cry is through a retro 32-bit rig I bought which runs an older version of Windows (Windows 7).
I've never got the console to work either. I just recently managed to get the unlock all weapons cheat to work (only after the tutorial is over and I've done the first kill the rival arms dealer mission for each map though). And unlimited ammo. I've got the unlimited reliability cheat in, but it doesn't work for whatever reason. I just bought the Steam edition for Windows 10 at the summer sale. Game runs fine but my old-ass can't have much fun without Godmode. Console comand god_mode_count=1 doesn't work. Nor does the DevMode.lua trick work. I'm unable to add the -devmode parameter to target line. Did Steam gimp these or am I doing something wrong? In order to increase the draw distance for vegetation, objects, and terrain, you can use DevMode.lua: 1) Make a backup copy of DevMode.lua. 2) Create a blank new DevMode.lua with Notepad. 3) Fill it with these lines: Input:BindCommandToKey ("#ViewDistIncreased ()","f11",1); function ViewDistIncreased () How do I get into devmode?
