I would just got with the M1 air with 16GB of ram tbh, nothing on the 13” Pro is worth the extra price over the air and you’re getting essentially the same performance. 256GB SSD should be enough if you don’t do anything besides school on your laptop, and large flash drives and external SSD’s are pretty cheap compared to what you are
