Once vehicle has been switched off will not start again until the use of easy start. If this is the same engine as Fiat's 1.3 Multijet, why would such a difference exist at all?

The one that is used with the 90hp engine has variable vanes and even if it looks similar it's totally different inside and the way it's managed by the ECU.
